Cidrification

Clarified cider, fermented for 10 months, resulting in a total transformation of sugar into alcohol.

Distillation

Double distillation in a pot still.

Ageing

In 1200L oak barrels followed by 400L oak barrels.

Duration of ageing

Cuvée of different Calvados AOC Pays d'Auge that spent at least 40 years in oak barrels

About the product :

  • Body: Copper coloured, clear and shiny

  • Scent: Aromas of brioche, gingerbread, coffee and candied fruit.

  • Taste: Smooth and enveloping start with candied apple and toasted brioche aromas. The finish leads to notes of dried fruit and bitter chocolate.Conseil de dégustation:

After dinner: At room temperature in a glass for eau de vie. Goes well with a nice cigar.
